The Dynamic Diet works in three phases, ignite, dominate and maintain. It is a program which gives you a whole menu of what to eat and how to make them, these you are supposed to follow for 20 days till you lose the desired weight. The weight loss happens during the initial 20 day period or the ignite phase, where one is asked to follow a complete fat free sugar free diet, this is followed by dominate phase which makes sure you are continuing the ignite phase and that is followed by the maintain phase. What happens usually is after one loses the weight they needed to lose they start paying less attention to their bodies again resulting in them gaining that weight again, hence the maintain phase.
